Recently I had request from a couple that asked to come stay at our apartments...

As always, I gave a rather service minded & quick answer with an offer!

A few days later ...the same couple found some criticism about us on the internet in a forum and then wrote us

to say, that now they don't trust staying at the Palms!?? (see "holidaycheck.de")

What do I/we (me & Véronique) say? ... well, what can we say more than some people (2) are never happy!!??

Petra & Karin from Germany (the critical 2) BOTH gave me & Véronique headaches from day #1!!!

Listed below are email addresses to hundreds & hundreds of guests that have stayed with us OR been helped

by us during their stay here in Paradise Mauritius! Marked red are guests that stayed at the Palms for sure!

Who would YOU listen to!? .....2 german ladies OR HUNDREDS of people from different countries!?

I will update when I have time to go through them all... yes, it takes a lot of time!!

(pew.... sweat... all this extra work due to ONE unhappy couple (2 women travelling together))

Hello X! Thanks very much for your time & engagement to respond to my answer etc! Surely I appreciate it!

My first feeling, already after your first mail about this, was... (remembering something I read in a book)
...to not put my energies in to this matter at all! Place my energies & focus on ALL the good happy
guests ...positive energy instead! Still feel the same!

Further, now when I hear your continued story and contacts ...yes, you seem to have run in to
a couple of people that really hates me! Oh, well ...I know the truth myself! We know the truth
ourselves, together, me & my wife! Which is, we have been fully booked
for 5 years now ...and it continues ...we must be doing something right!

I think when you run any type of business, especially successfully, you will always, from time
to time run in to people that are jelous & not happy with themself! But we have to not let ourselves
being trapped in this! Life must go on ...preferly with good energies surrounding us!

We ran this little "pearl" (the Palms) now, about 5 years, with around 16-18 couples (sometimes families)
per month ...this counts down to around 200 + different couples/families per year... = 1000 couples
totally I believe is an approximate count.

During these approx 5 years ...we have (what me & my wife can count/remember) had;

1. a swedish family that beat their kids 6am in the morning to wake all other guests up
(and this was a travelling agent from Sweden!!)

2. 2 german troubled ladies from "holidaycheck" (the true story would make you laugh)

3. a german/swiss very rude man with a nice lady - this one we finally had to pack his bags for "kickout"
(he is so full of shit this guy (sorry my language) - can't believe you ran in to him as well online! ...and I
am sure you would have understood my reaction to him as well 100%)

4. a group of french & locals smoking maurijana, playing music til 3-4 am - police had to come

5. one german couple where the lady cried day 1 for it was too peaceful here!!!??? she wanted to feed the
birds (you will see what problem that is at any hotel here) after they will shit all over your open
veranda & kitchen errace ....perhaps actually this was Petra from the "holidaycheck"

Anyway.... besides this ...can't remember ...I ask my wife ...she says she can't remember any further...
....but you know I really don't care to try to pull this further... LIFE AT SWEET PALMS MUST GO ON!

So it does.... I will go jogging now, do a little swim & then back to other more positive things here....
...as majority days at the Palms!!
